About Us

Selle Logica was started by David Ybarrola.  David has a diverse background.  He has worked in composites, designed medical products and is a bicycle framebuilder.  

David has worked with composites since the late 80's.  He has built watercraft and bicycle parts.  As a medical product designer he developed products that helped to reduce pressure sores and the improve comfort of hospital patients.  As a bicycle framebuilder www.ybarrola.com he came into contact with many people that suffered with saddle discomfort.  

Combining all of these experiences is what allowed the Selle Logica custom saddle to be invented.  Now after much research and development and customer feedback, the 3rd generation Selle Logica saddle is ready for production.
